Why Our Inspection Process Matters to You
As a pipes and fittings manufacturer, we understand that quality cannot be verified by a datasheet alone.
Procurement teams need visibility — not just certifications.
That is why we invite you to join us at the inspection for pipes and fittings stage, after production is complete, so you can verify every critical dimension and surface condition before goods leave our facility.
Our standard practice: once production is finished, we schedule a joint inspection session with you — in person at our factory or via live video — before shipment is confirmed.

Stage 1 — Raw Material Inspection
All pipe materials pass the test:
• Mill Test Report (MTR) verification: chemical composition, tensile/yield strength, and heat traceability confirmed against ASTM A106 / A105 / A182
• Dimensional check: OD, wall thickness, and straightness per ANSI/ASME tables
Material that fails any check is rejected and returned. No substitution is accepted without written authorization.
Stage 2 — In-Process Inspection
Our most critical in-process controls are:
Threading
For both pipe nipples and couplings, threading is verified on the first and last pieces of every run using calibrated NPT/BSPT Go/No-Go gauges per ASME B1.20.1.

Dimensions & Surface
Overall length (±0.5 mm), bore concentricity, and hex flat-to-flat dimensions are checked using calibrated digital calipers and CMM equipment. For galvanized products, coating thickness is verified per ASTM A153 each shift.

Stage 3 — Finished Product Inspection
Once production is complete, we invite you to process the final inspection for pipes and fittings after the lot has passed our internal review.
• 100% visual inspection: surface defects, thread damage, end-face condition, and identification marking
• sampling inspection: randomly drawing a sample from the finished lot for full re-measurement
Any non-conformance at this stage triggers a lot-hold.
Stage 4 — Final Inspection with You
We ship after you are satisfied—not just until our checklist is complete.
After our finished product inspection clears, we contact you to arrange a final pre-shipment inspection.
• In-factory witness inspection — your team or your nominated third-party agency reviews the finished lot alongside our QC team
• Live video inspection — for buyers who cannot travel, we conduct a real-time walkthrough via video call: you direct which pieces to measure, and we perform the checks on camera
• Pre-shipment sampling — we reopen a random selection of packed cartons for your review before the container is sealed
Stage 5 — Documentation Package
Every shipment — whether steel nipple or steel coupling — leaves with a complete quality document set:
| Document | Purpose |
| Mill Test Report (MTR) | Heat-traceable chemical & mechanical data |
| Dimensional Inspection Report | Measured values vs. drawing/standard |
| Thread Gauge Records | Go/No-Go results with calibration traceability |
| Certificate of Conformance (CoC) | QC Manager sign-off confirming standard compliance |
| Hydrostatic Test Certificate | Pressure test result (when specified) |
What This Means for Your Procurement Team
Our approach to inspection for pipes and fittings is built around one principle: you should never have to take our word for it.
By involving you directly after production, we eliminate the gap between what is promised and what is shipped.
• Fewer surprises on arrival — joint inspection catches issues before the container leaves
• Reduced incoming re-inspection costs at your warehouse
• Full material traceability from raw heat to finished fitting
• Flexibility — send your own inspector, use a third-party agency, or inspect remotely via video
Whether you are a first-time buyer or a long-term partner, our process is the same.
We are ready to schedule a joint inspection walkthrough at any stage of your evaluation.
